Welcome to IFFS 2020!
About the Symposium

The INTERPOL Firearm Forensics Symposium (IFFS) is the largest symposium of its kind in the world.

Law enforcement officials, public safety administrators, forensic science experts, and policy makers from around the world will gather for an  enriching three-day exchange where participants share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in an effort to support further development of their respective countries’ firearm ballistics and crime-solving expertise.

Join us in May for IFFS 2020!

Now in its 5th edition, this 3-day symposium will feature presentations, workshops, and panel discussions that focus on Building a Preventive Crime Gun Strategy.

  • Day 1 will focus on the steps that must be completed prior to launching a crime-gun intelligence-gathering initiative;
  • Day 2 on techniques that can be used to help in current investigations; and
  • Day 3 on methods to ensure the strategy can be sustained and expanded.
